Published rates. Inspection only.

5–7 business day report. Typical same-week field visit. These are inspection-and-report fees — not maintenance, not dredging, not an engineer stamp. Same rate card for HOAs and for businesses; commercial visits have a $650 floor.

Other ponds and stormwater controls

You do not need to know the type before you ask. If you are not sure, send a photo or the town letter.

  • Dry pond

    $395

One dry detention basin, inspection plus report.

  • Bioretention / rain garden / swale / level spreader

    $375

First device at a site. $275 each additional on the same visit.

  • Sand filter / proprietary MTD (surface access)

    $550

    Surface-accessible units only.

  • Underground control (visual)

HOA packages and commercial visits

  • HOA, 2–3 ponds / controls

    $395 + $250

$395 for the first, $250 for each additional on the same site visit.

  • HOA, 4–6 ponds / controls

    $1,250–$1,650

Typical range. Confirmed after we see the inventory and access.

  • Commercial visit

    À la carte, $650 floor

Priced from the rate card with a $650 minimum per visit. Typical for retail, office, medical, industrial, and apartments.

Add-ons

  • Re-inspection

    $150 / $250

$150 within 90 days of the original job; $250 after that. One paperwork/photo re-check is free if the only miss was a missing attachment.

  • Rush / NMR–NOV

    1.4× list

Field visit and report within 5 calendar days when the calendar allows.

  • PE seal

    Not offered

Some towns need an engineer stamp. We’ll tell you before you book. We are not a PE or LA practice.

  • 2-year contract

    10% off

Optional. Includes the 60-day reminder service.

Included with every job

Geotagged photos

Inlet, outlet/riser, embankment, forebay, and emergency spillway — labeled so a board member or property manager who has never walked the pond can see what we saw.

The form your town wants

The actual municipal packet — not a generic PDF dumped on every job. You do not need to know the form number.

One-page cover

Plain English: pass / needs work, plus cost-ranked fixes. Built to attach to a board packet or an owner’s town filing — not to impress another engineer.

Calendar reminder

A 60-day heads-up before the next due date, so the inspection does not become a March emergency.

Aerial imagery when useful

Drone-assisted inspection documentation for pond overviews and hard-to-access views — still inspection only, not a repair or maintenance add-on.

Wetlands and permeable pavement are quoted after a short scoping note. We do not advertise a $299 pond check. Rates are not a claim that we are the lowest-cost inspector on the lake.
